Pleasant Valley

Moonlit Canopy is located at Pleasant Valley Golf Course, set in the picturesque Pembina Valley, at the south end of Pelican Lake. With elevations rising up to 125ft, oak tree lined fairways, a winding creek and large undulating greens. The 18-hole golf course is an exciting challenge for golfers of all calibers. The Clubhouse is a short walk away and includes a restaurant for those who don’t want to cook.

Boasting its status as the largest navigable body of water in Southwest Manitoba, Pelican Lake is a short walk away and supports a wide variety of activities to keep outdoor enthusiasts busy year-round.

During the warmer months, these include hunting, boating, fishing, swimming, waterskiing, sailing, golfing, bird watching and much more. Artists and photographers can be kept busy for many hours in this beautiful valley full of scenery, wildflowers and wildlife.

At the north end of the lake, Pelican Lake Yacht Club offers a premiere destination for those who want to learn how to sail and nearby parks offer playgrounds, docks and groomed sand beaches.

During the winter, ice-fishing and snowmobiling are common.

The community of Ninette is located on the north tip of the lake. Killarney is a 15-minute drive and Belmont is 10 minutes. All three communities provide shopping, gas, groceries, banking and other conveniences. Additionally, the city of Brandon is a 1-hour drive to the north west, and Winnipeg is a 2-hour drive to the north east.

To the south, in North Dakota, Minot is a 2 ½ hour drive, and Devil's Lake is 1.5 hours.

Pleasant Valley is accessible year-round, and is located 2 kilometers from a paved highway.
