Frequently Asked Questions & Our Rate Schedule

Important Info When Planning to Join Us!

When you book a stay with us you will receive a series of emails that will contain information about what to pack, how to check in, and additional contact information should you need something during your stay. In this current climate, we are proud to say we offer social distancing, healthy open-air accommodations, and human free, contactless check-in for all our guests.

Do you accept pets?

Unfortunately, out of respect for local wildlife and the golf course, we are unable to accommodate pets at Moonlit Canopy. However, just minutes down the road is a charming kennel for your furry friend. Please contact Leona at Groom & Board Kennel, call 204-215-0499 or email livyfern@gmail.com

What is the occupancy of each dome?

The intended occupancy of each dome is 4 persons. Based on the layout, any occupancy greater than this may not be suitable and can disrupt your experience. Please contact us directly to discuss.

Are you family friendly?

Yes! Parents are responsible at all times for their children’s safety and behavior. Children are not allowed to be unsupervised at any time inside your dome. We include plastic plates, cutlery, cups and fun board games!

Are the domes heated?

Yes! The domes are fully insulated, heated by a gas fireplace and electric wall heater. There are plush duvets on each bed to make your stay comfy and cozy.

Do you have WIFI?

While we’d like to help you disconnect from all devices during your visit, we understand that you may need WIFI. We have installed Starlink satellite internet onsite. Cellular reception isn’t the strongest in this little corner of the province, so if you need to make a phone call, service is a short drive/walk away.

What is your nightly policy?

2 night minimum stay, 3 night minimum stay on long weekends. We feel this is truly a unique experience and to appreciate the environment, it deserves a 2 night stay or longer!

What happens due to inclement weather conditions?

Cold or inclement weather will not permit cancellations or refunds, unless the company deems the conditions make staying with us unsafe. We will make every effort to give ample warning.

Is the Hot Tub and BBQ available for use during the winter?

We will keep the hot tubs and BBQ available for use throughout the year, unless unforeseen severe weather conditions, mechanical difficulties or other circumstances arise.

What Should We Bring?

The domes have fully equipped kitchens with utensils, pots/pans, microwave, Keurig (coffee), toaster, electric hot plate and mini-fridge. We supply all the linens, towels and bath amenities, so really there's not much you need to bring other than your food and clothing for your stay.

Some suggested items to bring:

  • Cooking oil

  • Spices

  • Tin foil/plastic wrap

  • Flashlight

  • Insect Repellent and Sunscreen

  • Beach Towels

  • Robe, Slippers and Face Mask (if your sensitive to light)

  • Ice

You may see us around the property doing maintenance and cleaning at any time during your stay.

We are located on the edge of Pleasant Valley Golf Course, whose maintenance requires grounds keeping and may cause minimal disturbance.

Company Cancellation: In making a reservation with Moonlit Canopy you acknowledge that we reserve the right to cancel your stay at any time due to severe weather conditions, mechanical difficulties or other unforeseen circumstances. If your reservation is cancelled at our discretion you may choose to receive a future stay credit or a full refund.

Cancellations made 13 days or less prior to arrival, there is no refund. If we are able to re-book the stay up to 72 hours prior to check in you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 admin fee.
